Crock Pot Pulled Chicken with Homemade BBQ Sauce (Take 2)

The homemade BBQ sauce with Crock Pot Pulled Chicken I made recently was so good and disappeared so fast last time I made it, I had to try it again. This time, I prepared the BBQ sauce a little differently and added a bit of store bought BBQ sauce for extra flavor. I loved it last time, but this one is even better! I am from Memphis so sweeter BBQ is definitely more my style and this is right on key. This will be my new base recipe for this, but I will also have to get some molasses to toss in next time.

I started out by layering frozen chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.  Then I mixed the sauce together in a medium bowl and poured it over the chicken.  I set the crock pot up on low.

The BBQ aroma filled my whole house and the chicken looked awesome.

I shredded the chicken and poured some of the remaining sauce over it to make the pulled chicken.

Tangy, tender, and delicious are the best adjectives I can find.  You can't go wrong adding apple cider vinegar to BBQ.  The chicken came out perfect for pulled BBQ chicken sandwiches, and disappeared fast!
